Elementary School Program

The HATS FOR HIDES program embarked on a new initiative that provides tanned hides to First Nation Elementary Schools across Ontario, to assist them in making crafts. We hope this initiative will become an annual program.

A number of benefits result of this initiative:

• Children learn more about their culture
• First Nation schools are provided with material to make crafts
• Tanned surplus hides are purchased from Aboriginal collector
